Richard Hadden

Richard Hadden, CSP, is a Certified Speaking Professional recognized for his expertise in leadership, employee engagement, and the essential connection between people practices and profit performance. He co-authored the influential "Contented Cows" leadership book series, which includes titles such as "Contented Cows STILL Give Better Milk" and "Rebooting Leadership". His work emphasizes practical strategies for leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness and profitability through improved employee relations.

Since 1990, Hadden has delivered keynote presentations and training programs to over 850 audiences on five continents, covering various topics such as business strategy, leadership, and peak performance. His presentations, including "The Oomph Factor: Making the Extra Mile the Best Part of the Trip" and "Employee Engagement: Your People…Your Profit", are highly regarded for their insightful content and engaging delivery. Hadden and his business partner, Bill Catlette, also conduct employee engagement surveys for organizations, offering valuable insights to foster leadership and operational enhancements.

Before focusing on speaking and training, Hadden honed his leadership skills in the financial services and information technology sectors. He served as the Director of Product Development for a software company in North Florida before launching his own technology consulting business in 1986. Over time, his consulting shifted from Information Technology to focus more on Human Resources, Leadership, and Management. During this period, he also taught software design, principles of management, and international economics at Jacksonville University from 1988-1991. Hadden earned his MBA from The University of North Florida, Jacksonville, and his BS in Management from Jacksonville University. His efforts in the field have earned him the highest designation in the speaking profession, the Certified Speaking Professional designation, awarded by the National Speakers Association in 2000.

In addition to his speaking engagements, Hadden offers virtual presentations tailored to contemporary challenges, such as "Leading from a Distance in a Remote and Hybrid World".
