Richard LeMieux

Richard LeMieux is the author of the No. 1 selling book by a homeless man "Breakfast at Sally's" and is recognized as a a inspirational and educational speaker on homelessness in America.

LeMieux knows of what he speaks. He was homeless for three years in Bremerton, Washington, with his faithfull little dog Willow. During that difficult time he wrote his award winning book at picnic tables on a discarded typewriter.

LeMieux has spoken to over 100,000 people over the years at universities and colleges, groups like Indiana and Washington state Realtors Associations. The Long Island, N.Y. Psychological Association, Microsoft Corporation, medical schools in Washington State and California, religious organizations, the Washington state Nurses Association, the U.S. Navy and many more.

After reading his book, in Dunkirk, N.Y., one lady got her church to open a mission in her town on the often cold shores of Lake Erie. They named it after his dog Willow, who faithfully traveled with LeMieux during his journey.
