Rick Rodriguez Biography
Rick Rodriguez is COO and head of Content for Pongalo, Inc., which offers over 13,000 hours of tv series, movies and specials to Spanish speaker subscribers worldwide. He began his career as VP of Programming for Discovery Networks Latin America, where he oversaw four networks including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Discovery Kids. He then became EVP of Content for Discovery Networks International and GM of Discovery Networks Europe. Next, he was General Manager of the Travel Channel US where he commissioned some of that network’s longest running hits including No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain. He was President and General Manager of the broadcast childrens network Qubo. He recently served as General Manager for Los Angeles broadcaster KWHY MundoFox 22.
