Rick Springfield

Rick Springfield is a Grammy Award-winning Australian singer-songwriter, musician, and actor known for his hit single "Jessie's Girl." A member of the pop-rock group Zoot from 1969 to 1971, he began his career as a charismatic teen idol. His debut solo single, "Speak to the Sky," reached the top 10 in Australia. In mid-1972, he relocated to the U.S., adopting a new wave and power pop sound. Springfield's success skyrocketed with "Jessie's Girl," which earned him a Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance in 1981.
