Ricky Stenhouse Biography
In the span of four years, Mississippi's Ricky Stenhouse has gone from daredevil Dirt Sprint Car racer to NASCAR champion. The reigning Nationwide Series champion is defending his title in 2012 and currently holds the most wins. He drives the No. 17 Ford in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for Roush Fenway Racing. Roush promoted Stenhouse to Cup in 2013 to replace Matt Kenseth after Stenhouse won consecutive Xfinity Series championships (2011-2012). Stenhouse won the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award in 2013, and earned his first Cup win at Talladega in 2017 and won again later that season at Daytona. He qualified for the Playoffs in 2017, finishing a career-best 13th in the standings.
Accolades: 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Champion; 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year.
