Ringo Starr rose from humble beginnings to become an influential figure in music history. Battling through health issues and poverty in his childhood, Starr found solace and inspiration in music. Starr's life took a transformative turn in 1962 when he was invited to replace Pete Best as the drummer for The Beatles, completing the legendary lineup of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

Starr's solo work has also brought him several accolades, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015 and an appointment as a Knight Bachelor in the 2018 New Year Honours for his services to music.
