Rob Morgan

Rob Morgan is an American actor known for his role as Turk Barrett in the Netflix series "Daredevil," "Jessica Jones," "Luke Cage," "Iron Fist," "The Defenders," and "The Punisher," and Hap Jackson in "Mudbound." Additionally, he played Herbert Richardson in "Just Mercy" and was nominated for the NAACP Image Award's Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in a Motion Picture for his role in the critically acclaimed film.

Morgan has won 6 awards for his work, including the Screen Actors Guild Award's Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for "Stranger Things," the Black Reel Awards's Outstanding Guest Actor for his appearance in "This is Us," the Film Independent Spirit Awards' Robert Altman Award, and more. His acting career is complemented by his success as a best-selling and Gold-Medallion winning writer with over 20 books in print, totaling 2 million in print circulation.

Outside of his acting and writing, Morgan is the pastor of The Donelson Fellowship in Nashville, where he has served for 30 years. He has spoken in churches, colleges, and groups across America and internationally. Additionally, he is a co-owner of Roan Mountain Bed and Breakfast in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. Morgan and his wife Katrina have three daughters and ten grandchildren, with whom they reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
