Robert Smigel is an American actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer. Known for his Saturday Night Live "TV Funhouse" cartoon shorts and as the puppeteer and voice behind Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Smigel has left an indelible mark on the world of comedy. With a degree in political science from New York University's College of Arts and Science, he first established his reputation as a writer on Saturday Night Live. Smigel's collaborations with notable figures like Conan O'Brien and Adam Sandler, such as co-writing "You Don't Mess with the Zohan", "Leo", and the first two "Hotel Transylvania" films, attest to his versatility and broad talent.
