Robi Damelin

Robi Damelin, spokesperson and director of International Relations for the Parents Circle -Families Forum (PCFF), joined the organization after her son was killed by a Palestinian Sniper. PCFF is comprised of more than 600 Palestinian and Israeli bereaved families who believe in non-violence and reconciliation as a means to end the occupation and that there has to be a framework for a reconciliation process as part of any future political peace agreement. All her work on the ground, both in Palestine and Israel and internationally, is geared towards this goal.

Damelin was named a 2015 Woman of Impact by Women in the World and was also selected by the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at San Diego University as a woman peacemaker. She is the protagonist featured in the prize-winning documentary "One Day after Peace." The film provided a platform to share her journey with a broader audience, allowing her message of reconciliation and peace to reach beyond the borders of the conflict she works to resolve. Damelin regularly contributes to media outlets in Israel and abroad. She was invited to brief the Security Council at the United Nations in May 2022.

Damelin has been interviewed by the most prestigious media outlets, CNN, BBC, Forbes, CBS, France 24, Indian TV, etc. She has appeared on stages like Albert Hall and Lincoln Center.
