Robin Soderling Biography
Robin Bo Carl Söderling is a Swedish former professional tennis player. He reached a career-high ATP World No. 4 singles ranking in 2010. His career highlights include reaching two consecutive finals at the French Open and an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title. He was the first player to defeat Rafael Nadal at the French Open.
Söderling played his last professional match at only age 26 after contracting a lingering bout of mononucleosis. Following his official retirement in 2015, he became active in tennis administration as a tournament director at the Stockholm Open and captain of Sweden's Davis Cup tennis team. He also launched his own brand of premium tennis gear called RS Sports.
