Robyn Denholm

Robyn Denholm is an Australian business executive. She succeeded Elon Musk as chairman of Tesla, Inc. in November 2018. In early-2017, Denholm was appointed as chief operations officer (COO) of Telstra, Australia's largest telecoms company. In November 2018, Denholm became chairman of Tesla, with a plan to transition to full-time following six months working out her notice period for as chief financial officer (CFO) and head of strategy at Telstra.

Previously, Denholm was the Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Juniper Networks. She was responsible for the company's finance, administration and business operations, which include planning, IT, real estate, investor relations, internal audit, manufacturing operations, customer and partner excellence, and business transformation functions.

Denholm was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Women of Influence list and in 2011 she was a Bay Area CFO of the Year finalist. Additional recognition includes the 2010 Profiles in Diversity Journal Women Worth Watching list and the 2009 Institutional Investor All-America Executive Team Leadership and Investor Relations Award. Denholm served as a steering committee member for the Wall Street Journal CFO Network since its inauguration and served on the Board of Directors of Echelon Corporation beginning in 2008. Denholm is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Sydney and a master's degree in commerce from the University of New South Wales.
