Roger Frappier is a Canadian producer, director, editor, actor, and screenwriter who has been a key part of the best in Québec cinema for over 30 years. The producer of projects by an impressive number of critically acclaimed filmmakers, he has been instrumental in putting Québec cinema on the world map. In 2016, he produced Two Lovers and a Bear by Kim Nguyen. The film, starring DeHaan and Tatiana Maslany, premiered at the Director’s Fortnight section of the prestigious Cannes Films Festival.
Frappier is also known for The Grand Seduction (2013), Hochelaga, Land of Souls (2017), and the award-winning The Power of the Dog (2021).
