Ron Johnson

Ron Johnson is a retired police captain who is best known for his pivotal role in settling the 2014 race riots in Ferguson, Missouri. He was appointed by Governor Jay Nixon to oversee protest security on August 14, 2014, following the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown, Jr. His leadership during this critical period has been widely recognized and he has received numerous awards for his service.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Johnson is also a published author. His memoir, "13 Days in Ferguson," was released on August 7, 2018, providing a detailed account of his experiences during the protests. He holds a criminal justice degree and has completed advanced training at the Northwestern University Traffic Institute of Police Staff and Command, as well as graduating from the National Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy in 2014.

Further expanding his commitment to leadership and community service, Johnson founded Lodestone Solution Group, LLC in 2018. This organization focuses on developing and inspiring leaders, leveraging his extensive experience in crisis management and public safety. Johnson has been married for thirty years and has two adult children, emphasizing his longstanding commitment to family alongside his professional endeavors.
