Ronald Bliwas

 Under Bliwas's leadership, Eicoff has grown to become one of the top 10 agencies in Chicago, and its client base has greatly expanded over the years, including companies such as Sears, Liberty Medical, and A.A.R.P.      

Mr. Bliwas writes and speaks frequently about television advertising, and he has received widespread recognition for his efforts; he has been named as one of the most influential people in Chicago by Crain's Chicago Business as well as by Response TV magazine. Bliwas also was chosen by 60 Minutes to provide viewers with an overview of the television direct response business and was interviewed by Mike Wallace.  In addition, he usually gives talks to about 20 different marketing and direct marketing groups annually.      

He also is in the middle of writing a business book for Penguin (the Tarcher imprint) that will be coming out in 2007.      

Mr. Bliwas is a member of five boards: Taylor Capital Group, Inc., the University of Arizona National Board of Advisors, the executive committee of the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association (Bliwas was the board chairman in 2005), the Board of Friends of Prentice (Northwestern Memorial Hospital Foundation) and IIT's Psychology Department Board of Overseers.      

A 1964 graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. in marketing, Bliwas also received a degree from Northwestern University's Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies. Married with two children, Bliwas' hobbies include golf and reading.
