Ruth M. Bowdish

Ruth Bowdish is currently the Managing Director for On Demand Healthcare, a published author and successful life coach. After earning her master’s degree in psychology, she became a certified employee assistance professional, a substance abuse professional and is currently a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor. As the Managing Director of On Demand Healthcare she implemented processes and procedures giving this company a national presence.

She applied innovation and determination to increase profitability, employee retention and overall revenue. She has over two decades of experience working with individuals in various capacities from leadership initiatives to substance use disorders to life coaching personal ordeals. Ruth began to establish a unique foundation of safety compliance, employee motivation, and addiction awareness. Eventually, using her experience and knowledge, Bowdish moved into the role of a nationwide consultant, trainer, and public speaker. As a consultant, Bowdish has provided invaluable information to create strong teams with strong leaders.

As a Substance Abuse Professional, she has provided a deeper understanding of addiction and drugs in the workplace and as a counselor and coach, she has provided guidance to navigating personal difficulties that are holding people back from being the success stories they can be.

Bowdish shares details of her personal ordeals with abuse, poverty, domestic violence and raising a special needs child at conferences and industries across the country. It is her knowledge and passion that creates a distinction as she continues to help increase awareness and understanding of some of the toughest topics plaguing our society today.
