Ryan Newman

Ryan Newman embarked on his career with an impactful start, securing the 2002 NASCAR Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year award. Newman prowess on the track continued to unfold as he claimed victory in the 2008 Daytona 500, further punctuating his status in the racing world. Newman's career includes wins in esteemed races such as the 2002 The Winston and the 2013 Brickyard 400. Notably, in 2023, he was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers and also clinched the SRX Series Championship. Newman's experience extends beyond just the NASCAR Cup Series, having also competed in the SMART Modified Tour for Coulter Motorsports.

Newman's resilience and agility were tested following a major crash at the 2009 Amp Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, from which he emerged unscathed. Newman demonstrated an ability to adapt and thrive in changing circumstances, transitioning from Penske to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2009. Newman ended a 78-race winless streak with a victory at the Subway Fresh Fit 600 at Phoenix International Raceway in 2010. Newman's adaptability and perseverance were further demonstrated following a serious crash at the 2020 Daytona 500, where he made a miraculous recovery, returning to NASCAR competition later that year.

Outside the racing circuit, Newman has applied his knowledge and experience to other areas of motorsport. Newman was involved in the development of the 2005 EA Sports game "NASCAR SimRacing." Additionally, his commitment to philanthropy is seen through his operation of Rescue Ranch, a charity focused on animal and wildlife conservation.
