Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian actor, producer, and entrepreneur known for his versatility and charm across various genres, from action to comedy.

Reynolds has since starred in a wide range of films, achieving major success with roles in romantic comedies like “The Proposal” (2009) alongside Sandra Bullock, action films such as “Safe House” (2012), and superhero movies, most notably as the wisecracking antihero in “Deadpool” (2016) and its sequel “Deadpool 2” (2018), as well as other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. The “Deadpool” franchise, for which Reynolds also served as a producer, became a massive commercial success and solidified his status as a Hollywood A-lister. His portrayal of the irreverent Marvel character was lauded for its humor and authenticity.

Outside of acting, Reynolds has made significant ventures into business. He is a co-owner of Aviation American Gin and was a major shareholder in Mint Mobile, a wireless carrier company. In 2020, Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney bought the Welsh football club Wrexham AFC, an endeavor chronicled in the docuseries “Welcome to Wrexham” (2022).

Reynolds is also known for his philanthropy and witty social media presence, often engaging in playful banter with his wife, actress Blake Lively. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Reynolds began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in TV shows such as “Fifteen” and “The Odyssey.” His breakout role came in the sitcom “Two Guys and a Girl” (1998–2001), where his comedic talent shone through.
