Ryan Tannehill

Ryan Tannehill, a notable figure in the National Football League (NFL), began his journey into stardom as a first-round pick for the Miami Dolphins in 2012. His early career was marked by several accomplishments, such as surpassing the Dolphins' single-game record for most passing yards by a rookie quarterback and setting a franchise rookie record for passing yards, attempts, and completions. Before stepping into his professional career, he had already made a name for himself at Texas A&M, earning All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors and finishing his college career with a total of 5,450 passing yards and 42 touchdown passes.

Tannehill's trajectory continued to rise as he signed a six-year, $96 million contract extension with the Miami Dolphins in 2015. He made history as the 64th quarterback in the NFL to post a perfect 158.3 passer rating during a game, and he set an all-time NFL record with 25 consecutive completed passes. His consistency was evident as he became one of the four quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for over 3,000 yards in each of his first four seasons. A significant setback occurred in 2017 when Tannehill had to miss the season due to a torn ACL, but that didn't stop him from bouncing back and leading the Dolphins to a playoff berth in 2016, their first since 2008.

In 2019, Tannehill was traded to the Tennessee Titans and quickly established himself as a key player, leading the team to the AFC Championship Game. He was recognized as the NFL Comeback Player of the Year and was named to his first career Pro Bowl. Tannehill continued to break records, setting franchise records for the Tennessee Titans with a 117.5 quarterback rating and 9.6 yards per attempt during the 2019 season. He also holds the NFL record for most consecutive pass completions at 25. Off the field, Tannehill gives back to the community through his charitable foundation, Achieving Community and Education Success (ACES), which supports high school students, and his participation in the NFL's "My Cause My Cleats" initiative.
