Sara Paulson Brummett

It has been Sara Paulsons lifelong dream to be used of the Lord in full-time music ministry for the purposes of evangelizing the community, calling the church to worship, and providing music to feed the spirit. As the daughter of a voice teacher, Sara had studied and prepared for years to be a singer, when her life took an unexpected twist, and she became Miss Oregon 1992, competing in the Miss America pageant.

Singing and speaking in all genres, from school children to seniors, the Miss Oregon title jump-started her singing and speaking ministry into a full-time career at a young age. Sara used her Miss America scholarships to complete a Masters Degree in Communication at Regent University and a Bachelors Degree in Theology from Portland Bible College, where she minored in music, also taking over 8 years of piano and 10 years of vocal lessons from 3 teachers, her main one being her dad. While in graduate school, Sara signed a recording contract with Pamplin Music, which resulted in the national release of 3 CDs, Top-Ten Inspirational Radio airplay, and a full-time national concert and worship ministry.

Since then, the Lord has opened the doors for Sara to minister around the world, with Steps of Paul Coastal Cruises in Greece, Turkey, Italy, Israel, Egypt, with worship teams in Romania, New Zealand, England, Ireland, as well as ministry trips to China, the Philippines, Canada, and throughout the United States for churches, conferences and a variety of political and community events. She enjoys using her talent to benefit various civic activities as well. Her fondest memories include a Christmas concert for the Chernobyl children, singing the National Anthem for President George W. Bush, and giving concerts in Romania during the 2nd Revolution. You may have seen her on the Miss America pageant, the Rush Limbaugh show, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daystar Television Network and The 700 Club, or in Gaither Homecoming Videos.

During the last two decades, she has been involved with the ministries of Dr. Charles Stanley, Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. D. James Kennedy, Dr. Adrian Rogers, Dr. Randy Carlson & Family Life Communications, Moody Broadcasting & Moody Bible Institute, The Crystal Cathedral, The Brooklyn Tabernacle, Luis Palau Crusades, Bill Gaither Homecoming Concerts, Heritage Keepers Womens Conferences, World Vision, the concert tours of Truth & The Happy Goodmans, and most recently for Steps of Paul Coastal Cruises based in Athens, Greece.

Upon marriage to Rick Brummett, formerly with the mens trio, Spiritbound, Rick & Sara began recording and traveling in ministry together, and now with their son, Brice. Sara is currently based in Oceanside, CA where she has been worship pastor at a local church and is available for solo, duet (with husband Rick) and worship-leading ministry.
