Sarah Fisher

Sarah Fisher first gained attention as a professional race car driver in the IRL, where she achieved notable milestones, including being named "Most Popular Driver" in 2003. She also demonstrated her support for educational and empowerment initiatives, as seen when her driving suit and race car's wing in the 2003 Indianapolis 500 featured the Girl Scout service mark to support the Girl Scouts of the USA's 'Girls Go Tech' campaign. Fisher expressed her passion for all racing aspects and her enthusiasm for promoting engineering and tech education among girls.

Fisher's achievements on the track are significant. She is a nine-time Indy 500 starter, the highest number by a woman, and was the first female to win the pole position for a major North American open-wheel event. Additionally, she remains the fastest woman to have qualified for the Indianapolis 500 and still holds the track record at Kentucky Speedway.
