Sasha Biography
Sasha, a Welsh DJ and record producer, began his music career in the late 1980s, captivating audiences with his acid house music. Sasha soon entered into a productive period of collaboration with British DJ John Digweed, resulting in the formation of the duo Sasha & John Digweed. This partnership solidified Sasha's reputation in the electronic music industry, and his expertise in the genre was further underscored when he was voted as World No. 1 DJ in 2000 in a poll conducted by DJ Magazine.
Throughout his career, Sasha has remixed tracks for notable artists such as D-Ream, Madonna, Moby, the Chemical Brothers, and Hot Chip, adding his unique touch to their music. Sasha's talent has also been recognized with numerous accolades, including four International Dance Music Awards and four DJ Awards, and a Grammy Award nomination. Sasha's discography features three albums of original works, "The Qat Collection" (1994), "Airdrawndagger" (2002), and "Scene Delete" (2016), each contributing significantly to his music career. Additionally, he launched his record label, emFire, in 2007 as an exclusive platform for his new music.
