Scott Issen

Scott Issen is Co-Founder and CEO of Future Founders, a nonprofit that is building the nation’s largest inclusive community of intentional young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial-minded leaders. During his tenure, Future Founders has served over 46,000 youth and received local and national recognition for its impactful work.

Previously, Issen was Managing Director at the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC), which now runs the 1871 tech incubator, and mentored high-growth entrepreneurs. In addition, Issen was a CEC business advisor and counseled entrepreneurs on debt financing, market and channel analysis, lead generation strategies and corporate positioning and messaging. Prior to that, he managed small business programming for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and staffed the Technology Growth Committee. He also held various positions at ABN AMRO and LaSalle Banks (now Bank of America).

Issen is a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and The Economic Club of Chicago. He is U.S. Nationals Chair for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) and serves on the board of EO Chicago as GSEA Chair. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and was named to Crain’s “40 Under 40"" list and the 2017 Techweek 100 list as a Talent Cultivator.
