Scott Pruett

Scott Pruett boasts an illustrious career with 50 years in racing and 17 years in the wine business. As a celebrated racing driver, he is a 7-time Hall of Fame inductee and a 12-time Road Racing Champion. Pruett has achieved 10 class wins and 5 overall wins at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, setting a record in American sports car victories with 60 wins. Highlighted achievements include being named the 1989 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year and a 2001 Class winner at the Le Mans 24 Hours. With a career spanning multiple disciplines, Pruett accumulated 88 career wins in IndyCar, Sportscar, and NASCAR. Currently, he serves as a Brand Ambassador for Lexus and Rolex and is a motivational speaker for major companies. Pruett is also an acclaimed winemaker, having received the Wine Spectator Critics Choice award five times, and his Syrah was twice tied for the highest rated in California.

In addition to his achievements on the track, Pruett has co-authored four children's books with his wife Judy, collectively selling over 100,000 copies.

Among Pruett's numerous accolades are his 24 Hours of Le Mans LMGTS Class win in 2001, the Phil Hill Award of Excellence in 2016, and the Justice Brothers/Shav Glick award in 2018. He secured an overall victory at the Sebring 12hr in 2015 and a class victory in 1986. In 2012, he was honored with a star on the Long Beach Walk of Fame and received the Spirit of Competition Award in 2023. As a prominent figure in motorsports, Pruett has been a Grand Marshal at the Rolex Daytona 24hr, achieved IMSA GTO Championships in 1987 and 1988, and secured two victories in the International Race of Champions. He earned SCCA Trans AM Championships in each of the three full seasons he competed and has a record of success with four top-5 finishes in NASCAR Monster races. With five Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Championships and six IndyCar poles, Pruett's career is filled with distinguished accomplishments.

Having begun racing at the age of 8 in go-karts in 1968, Pruett has amassed numerous professional karting championships. Over an impressive 50-year career, he has driven and won races with a variety of manufacturers and achieved a remarkable 10 class wins at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. His tenure in IndyCar spanned ten seasons, during which he earned two wins. Accumulating numerous accolades, including the King of Karting title in 1991 and multiple Hall of Fame inductions, Pruett's legacy in motorsport is profound.
