Seth Rogen

Seth Rogen is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director who has become one of the most recognizable names in Hollywood for his work in comedy. Rogen had his first major role in the cult classic TV show “Freaks and Geeks” (1999-2000), then in “Undeclared” (2001) and his breakout performance in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” (2005).

Rogen is best known for his leading roles in a string of successful comedies, including “Knocked Up” (2007), “Superbad” (2007), “Pineapple Express” (2008), “This Is the End” (2013), and “Neighbors” (2014). His unique brand of humor, often blending raunchy comedy with heartfelt moments, has made him a fan favorite.

In addition to acting, Rogen has established himself as a successful writer and producer. He co-wrote “Superbad” and “Pineapple Express” with his writing partner and childhood friend, Evan Goldberg. Together, they also wrote and directed “This Is the End” and “The Interview” (2014), the latter sparking international controversy due to its depiction of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Rogen's work extends beyond comedy, as he has appeared in more dramatic roles, such as in “Steve Jobs” (2015), where he portrayed Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and in “The Fabelmans” (2022), directed by Steven Spielberg. He also lent his voice to popular animated films like “Kung Fu Panda” (2008) and “The Lion King” (2019), where he voiced Pumbaa.

Outside of film, Rogen is an advocate for Alzheimer's research, co-founding the charity Hilarity for Charity with his wife, Lauren Miller Rogen, whose mother was diagnosed with the disease. He has been vocal about the need for more funding and awareness around Alzheimer’s and frequently hosts charity events to raise money for the cause.
