Shane & Shane Biography
Shane & Shane is a Texas-based, contemporary Christian music band known for acoustic praise and worship music, as well as their close vocal harmonies. The band consists of Shane Barnard (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Shane Everett (vocals). They are often joined by their drummer and manager, Joey Parish.
Shane & Shane, who released their debut album, Psalms, in 2002, create music that is full of heart, power, and intentionality in glorifying the Lord instead of themselves.
In 2014, following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Shane & Shane launched a project called The Worship Initiative, a paid membership website that is intended to make the lives of worship leaders a bit easier. The site includes instructional videos and chord charts for popular worship songs.
In October of 2015, Shane & Shane released their tenth studio album, Psalms II. Each of the 12 worship songs is based on a different psalm. Psalms II peaked at #179 on the Billboard 200 and #9 on the U.S. Christian Albums chart.
