Sherri Shepherd

Whether on stage or screen, Sherri Shepherd’s magnetic personality and hilarious sense of humor never fails to delight audiences. She is the host of her own talk show, "Sherri," airing daily on Fox. Shepherd was previously co-host of "The View" for 600 episodes. During her time on this series, she and her co-hosts won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host, were featured in Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in World,” and ranked as #11 on Forbes’ “30 of the Most Influential Women in Media.”

In addition to daytime television, Shepherd starred in the sitcoms "The Jamie Foxx Show," "Less than Perfect," "Sherri," "Trial & Error," and "Mr. Iglesias." Her extensive list of tv credits also include recurring roles on "30 Rock," "Call Your Mother" and "The Sex Lives of College Girls."

She has appeared in notable films such as "Precious," "Beauty Shop," and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," where she voiced the character of Florrie the giraffe. Shepherd has also starred in comedies like "Think Like a Man" and "Ride Along 2" and dramas such as "Brian Banks" and the 2022 film "The Way Out." She also appeared in "Cinderella" on Broadway and gained notoriety for her stand-up comedy acts across the United States.

Sharing her passion for staying healthy, Shepherd authored "Plan D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes Even If You Don’t Have It," which was on the New York Times bestseller list. She is also the author of a humorous autobiography, "Permission Slips: Every Woman’s Guide to Giving Yourself a Break."
