Sonia Cheng is the Chief Executive Officer of Rosewood Hotel Group. She has been in this role since 2011. When she started, the hotel outfit ran 19 different properties. Under her leadership, this has grown exponentially and the company now runs 61 different properties across the world.
Previously, Cheng was an investment banker where she specialized in real estate investments. Her family runs a New World Development Corporation based in Hong Kong.
She has a B.A. from Harvard University.
