The brand was born from Bendet’s personal quest to create the perfect pair of pants and has since grown into a full lifestyle collection that includes ready-to-wear, gowns, shoes, handbags, accessories, and eyewear. In addition to alice + olivia, Bendet has expanded her creative reach with the sleep-to-streetwear concept BIGFEELINGS, which she co-founded.

In addition to her work in fashion, Bendet co-founded Creatively, a networking platform for the creative industry, and the #ShareTheMicNow movement.

As CEO and Creative Director, Bendet juggles her professional responsibilities with her life as a wife and mother of three daughters. Philanthropy is a major aspect of her life, both personally and professionally. She is a member of the board of trustees of NY-based Good+, a foundation that provides essentials for children of families in need and supports Ronald McDonald House, which offers assistance to families suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Bendet is also a member of the board of the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, her alma mater where she graduated with a degree in international relations and French.

Bendet is not just a successful businesswoman and philanthropist but also a recognized fashion icon. She has appeared on the Vanity Fair Best-Dressed list four years in a row and is now a member of their Best-Dressed Hall of Fame.
