Stephan Meier is a Professor of Business Strategy and Management Division Chair at Columbia Business School. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Zurich, and was formerly a Senior Economist at the Center for Behavioral Economics and Decision-Making at the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank. Meier has also taught courses on strategic interactions and economic policy at Harvard University and the University of Zurich.
He has an extensive background in behavioral economics, which he applies to his research in business strategy. Notably, Meier has been involved with the creation and coordination of key programs at Columbia Business School.
