Stephanie Grisham

Stephanie Grisham is an American former White House official who served as the 32nd White House Press Secretary and as White House Communications Director from July 2019 to April 2020. Notably, she is the only person in history to have held both the roles of White House Press Secretary and Communications Director simultaneously for both the West and East Wings. Grisham served as Chief of Staff and Press Secretary for the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, from 2020 to 2021, and previously as her Press Secretary from 2017 to 2019.

Before her tenure in the White House, Grisham was deeply involved in Arizona politics, serving as the spokesperson for the Arizona Speaker of the House, Arizona Republican Majority Caucus, and Arizona Attorney General. Her extensive background includes over 15 years of experience in public relations, national Republican politics, immigration and border issues, and education reform. Grisham also held Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearances and traveled globally with the U.S. Administration, engaging with Foreign Heads of State and Dignitaries.

Grisham's post-administration career includes authoring the New York Times bestseller "I'll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw at the Trump White House." She resigned on January 6, 2021, following the storming of the United States Capitol. Currently, Grisham is a regular contributor on CNN, discussing political issues, and has guest-hosted ABC's "The View." She is actively involved in educating the public about the extremist wing of the Republican party and the risks of a second term for Donald Trump. Additionally, Grisham volunteers her time speaking to abused or neglected children and is working to establish a nonprofit animal sanctuary.
