Stephanie Rudnick

Stephanie Rudnick is a brand management and communications strategist with over 20 years' experience across numerous industries. In December 2020, she and her family "picked up sticks" and moved to Sydney, Australia, for a new adventure where she rejoined dentsu's global sports and entertainment agency MKTG. Concurrently, she'll continue to head up PR at the beloved Angel City Football Club, LA's newest professional sports team. Steph is also an advisor for the Beautiful Game Group, a VC fund focused on buying pro sports teams (soccer, rugby, basketball and esports) worldwide.

In October 2018, Rudnick joined the XFL as the head of communications and media relations. The startup spring American football league, founded by entrepreneur Vince McMahon abruptly ceased operation in April 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. During an 18-month tenure as employee #11, Rudnick hired and managed the PR staff at the league's eight teams, a team at HQ, as well as an outside strategic communications agency 160over90. She oversaw all comms activities for league execs, business and sponsorship team, coaches, and players that generated more than 3.2 billion earned media impressions valued at over $250,000,000.

In February 2015, she joined MKTG, as head of communications. Before MKTG, she ran marketing and communications at leading global sports and entertainment agency, Wasserman Media Group. She also created the company's internal athlete public relations discipline and managed day-to-day PR for key talent including Andrew Luck, Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Derrick Rose, Jason Collins and many others.

She joined Wasserman from IPG's Momentum Worldwide, where she built the global comms discipline for its outposts in 50 countries. Prior to Wasserman, she held strategic communications roles at PMK*BNC (where she ran the American Express account for many years), Microsoft, Excite@Home, Edelman, and Rogers & Cowan.
