Steve Carell

Steve Carell, best known for his role as Michael Scott in the NBC sitcom "The Office," has an extensive career in both comedy and drama. From 2005 to 2011, and briefly in 2013, Carell entertained audiences with his portrayal of the bumbling office manager, earning him a Golden Globe Award and six consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations. His comedic talents were also showcased in the films "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," and "Get Smart," among others. In addition to acting, Carell has lent his voice to animated films like "Over the Hedge," "Horton Hears a Who!" and the "Despicable Me" franchise.

While Carell's comedy work is well-known, he has also taken on challenging dramatic roles. He portrayed John du Pont in "Foxcatcher," earning him nominations for the Academy Award, Golden Globe, and BAFTA Award for Best Actor. Other dramatic roles include performances in "Little Miss Sunshine," "The Big Short," "Battle of the Sexes," and "Beautiful Boy." Carell returned to television as co-creator and producer of the comedy series "Angie Tribeca," and later starred in "The Morning Show" on Apple TV+, earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. In recent years, Carell has continued to diversify his portfolio. He starred in the Netflix sitcom "Space Force," and the FX on Hulu limited series "The Patient." In 2024, Carell made his Broadway debut in the Lincoln Center Theatre revival of Anton Chekov's "Uncle Vanya."
