Susan Kelechi Watson is an accomplished actress recognized for her significant contributions to both film and television. Watson gained prominence for her portrayal of Beth Pearson in the popular NBC drama series "This Is Us" from 2016 to 2022, a role that earned her multiple nominations, including the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In addition to her work on "This Is Us," Watson lent her voice to the animated series "Ada Twist, Scientist" beginning in 2021. She starred in "Will Trent" in 2024 and Netflix's "The Residence" in 2025.
Watson's performances have not only been confined to the small screen. She demonstrated her cinematic prowess in the 2019 Fred Rogers biopic "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood," where she starred as Andrea Vogel alongside Tom Hanks.
