Sylvan Esso, an electronic pop duo, was established in 2013 in Durham, North Carolina. The band members are Amelia Meath, who is responsible for the vocals, and Nick Sanborn, who takes care of production. The duo debuted with the single "Hey Mami" and established their presence in the music industry with their self-titled debut album in 2014. They have released multiple albums since then, such as "What Now," which earned them a Grammy Award nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album, "Free Love," and their most recent work, "No Rules Sandy," in 2022.
