Tara Reed is a tech entrepreneur with previous experience working in marketing at Google, Foursquare, and Microsoft. Before founding Apps Without Code, Reed launched Kollecto, an app for affordable art collecting, which she built without writing a single line of code. Her success with Kollecto led to a TEDx talk on helping other entrepreneurs build their own apps without code. After the TEDx talk, she was inspired to share her experience and knowledge with others who had great ideas but weren’t technically inclined.
Apps Without Code helps non-technical entrepreneurs build apps without code and generate revenue. The company works with nonprofit and grant-making organizations that want to promote entrepreneurship, economic development, diversity in tech, and social mobility, but don’t have the time or expertise to organize this type of program themselves. Reed also works as a board member for Moz, a marketing analytics software company.
