Tariq Meyers

Tariq Meyers is a Bay Area California transplant and Boston native. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Untapped, a talent marketplace that assists Tech and Finance companies in connecting with emerging talent. He has a firm belief in the potential of for-profit organizations to be socially conscious and adhere to principles of civil rights and social justice.

Throughout Meyers' tenure at Untapped, he has progressed from Vice President of Strategy and Head of People & Talent to Chief People Officer and Co-CEO. Meyers has overseen the company's legal, financial, recruitment, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) aspects. He has also been instrumental in transitioning Untapped to a "remote-first" model, thereby expanding Untapped’s diverse candidate community and reshaping candidate representation in recruitment.

Before co-founding Untapped, Meyers was the Global Head of Belonging, Global Inclusion, and Employee Experience at Coinbase. There, he led the Employee Support Task Force in response to COVID-19. Before his stint at Coinbase, Meyers was the Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Lyft, where he played a key role in building their community affairs team. His advocacy for DE&I started early, as he joined his local NAACP chapter in Boston at the young age of 14. Inspired by his personal mission, Meyers has always been committed to enabling the business community to reach their full potential by tapping into diverse communities around the globe.
