Tate McRae established herself in the limelight as the first Canadian finalist on "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2016. Her talent swiftly caught the attention of RCA Records, leading to a signing and the release of her debut song, "One Day," in 2017. McRae's distinct voice and emotive lyrics resonated with listeners worldwide, exemplified by her EP "Too Young to Be Sad," becoming the most streamed female EP of 2021 on Spotify.
