The Ready Set Biography
Ready Set is the solo project of Jordan Witzigreuter, born in 1989, which was started in November 2007.
His interest in music formed when he started playing drums at age 10. By 14, he was playing in bands, and by 16, he was touring with them. He later found another creative outlet by writing lyrics and music in an acoustic duo, which eventually led to the formation of The Ready Set.
Jordan decided to take the songs he had written and put together a Myspace page just for fun. In January 2008, he released an EP "Syntax and Bright Lights." He soon after began writing his second release, a full length album call Tantrum Castle.
As of 2013, he has released three full albums (Feel Good Now, Tantrum Castle and I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming), four extended plays and six singles. Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz signed The Ready Set to his label Decaydance Records in 2009.
Witzigreuter is best known for the commercially successful single "Love Like Woe" from his major label debut I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming. His album, Feel Good Now, was released on October 11, 2011 on Sire Records. His third album "Sorry Sorry" was released in 2013.
