Theresia Gouw

Theresia Gouw is an engineer, an experienced entrepreneur, and successful investor in the new mobility space, focused primarily on Consumer, Social Commerce, and Security opportunities. Not only is she renowned as the co-founder of Aspect Ventures, established in 2014, but she is also a co-founder of Acrew Capital, which was launched in 2019. As an entrepreneur, Theresia was the founding VP of Business Development and Sales at Release Software, a venture-backed company that provided SaaS to enable digital rights management and payment technologies for the software industry. Earlier, she worked at Bain & Company and as a product manager at Silicon Graphics.

Her influential contributions to technology have been recognized seven times on the Forbes Midas List as one of the "world's smartest tech investors," and she was named one of the 40 most influential minds in tech by Time Magazine. Her contributions have also earned her honors such as the Women 2.0 Awards and the World Affairs Council of Northern California's Leading By Example Award. In fact, Gouw has been a speaker at events like Web Summit and The Most Powerful Women Summit and featured in many publications like Fortune, CNBC, and The Wall Street Journal. With a net worth of approximately $500 million, Gouw stands as the richest female venture capitalist.

Theresia serves as a Fellow on Brown University’s Corporation Board and as a vice-chair of DonorsChoose.org. She also serves on the GSB Advisory Council, Castilleja School Board of Trustees, and DAPER investment fund. She co-teaches a course on Venture Capital at the GSB at Stanford. Theresia holds a ScB in Engineering from Brown University, magna cum laude, and an MBA from Stanford University.
