Thomas Flagel Biography
Author Thomas Flagel teaches American History at Columbia State Community College in Franklin, Tennessee. While focusing on the Civil War, he has also written books on World War II and the American Presidency. Thomas Flagel is currently working on a volume concerning Abraham Lincoln.
Flagel holds degrees from Loras College (B.A. History), Kansas State University (M.A., European History), Creighton University (M.A., International Relations), and has studied at the University of Vienna. He is currently working on his doctorate at Middle Tennessee State University.
Active in Civil War preservation and education, Flagel is an annual speaker at the Museum and Visitors Center at Gettysburg. He currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee."
