Tiffany Alvord

Tiffany Lynn Alvord is an American singer and songwriter. She has been cited as one of YouTube's first "home-grown celebrities" and has a large social presence on YouTube with over 400 million video views and over 2.2 million subscribers, making her channel among the top 50 most subscribed music channels on YouTube. She also has a strong following on social media sites, including more than 2.4 million Facebook fans and over 350 thousand Twitter followers. In December 2012, Alvord performed in Times Square on the Nivea stage with Carly Rae Jepsen, Train, PSY and Taylor Swift as part of the 2012 New Year's Eve celebration.

Alvord was born December 11, 1992, in California. She is the penultimate of seven siblings, having six brothers. When in elementary school, she learned to play the piano and wrote her first songs at the age of 10. When she was 14, Alvord learned to play the guitar, her second instrument. She published her first song on YouTube in April 2008 at age 15.

Alvord trained as a gymnast for nine years and competed in gymnastics for four years until an injury during competition forced her to quit. She finished high school early, in only three years, in 2010. By her graduation, her YouTube channel and music were beginning to take off, so she postponed college and decided to focus solely on her music.

She has participated in various tours, opening for Boyce Avenue on their U.S. tour during February and March 2011, and headlining with Alex Goot on a U.S. tour between August and September of the same year.

On June 23, 2011, Alvord's first album I've Got It Covered launched in the United States, featuring ten of her most prominent cover songs. On December 20, 2011, she released her second studio album My Dream with Tate Music Group, her first album of original songs.

Alvord has made many live music performances, mainly in the United States, but also in Canada, England, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, performing both original songs and cover songs made popular on YouTube.

On June 29, 2012, she released her third album, I've Got It Covered Vol. 2, which, like her first album, has 10 cover songs made popular on her YouTube channel. On September 18, 2012, Alvord released her fourth album on iTunes, entitled My Heart Is.

In July 2013, Alvord performed live in Europe for the first time, headlining sold-out shows in London, including the historic London Hippodrome. During the trip, Alvord was featured on a live interview with Simon Lederman on 94.9 BBC Radio, London.

On August 13, 2013, she released her fifth album, I’ve Got It Covered Vol. 3, followed by her Legacy album, on August 12, 2014.

Currently, Alvord is working on various international tours while continuing to regularly post new music content for her subscribers on YouTube.
