Tim Howard

Tim Howard is currently a full-time analyst for NBC Sports, covering the English Premier League, including shows such as "Premier League Mornings," "Premier League Live," and "Goal Zone." These pre- and post-match shows appear on NBC, NBCSN, and Peacock. Howard, who was named to this role in August 2020, commenced his broadcasting career while still playing for Everton, making his debut with NBC Sports on October 27, 2013, during a Chelsea-Manchester United match alongside Arlo White. Over the next two seasons, he commentated on numerous Premier League matches and studio shows for NBC Sports. Additionally, he served as an analyst on Turner Sports’ Champions League coverage from 2018-20.

Having retired from professional soccer in 2019, Howard's career spanned more than two decades. He made 45 Premier League appearances with Manchester United (2003-06) before transferring to Everton (2006-16), where he accumulated a total of 414 appearances over 10 seasons. Notably, Howard set a World Cup record with 16 saves in a single match during the United States' 2014 World Cup Round of 16 game against Belgium. His international career includes playing in three World Cups and achieving the record for the most caps and wins by any goalkeeper in US Soccer history. Howard also played nearly 200 Major League Soccer games with the MetroStars (1998-2003) and Colorado Rapids (2016-19), and is currently a minority owner and sporting director for Memphis 901 in the USL Championship. He also made four appearances as a goalkeeper for Memphis 901 in this past season.

Beyond his sporting accomplishments, Howard has been an active advocate for Tourette Syndrome, a condition he was diagnosed with at a young age. His commitment to raising awareness and supporting others with the condition has been a significant part of his off-field activities. Howard also authored the autobiography "The Keeper: A Life of Saving Goals and Achieving Them," detailing his personal and professional experiences. In his current role as a speaker, Howard often discusses themes such as perseverance, overcoming adversity, and self-belief, drawing on his extensive experiences in both life and soccer.
