Timothy J. Los

Timothy J. Los is founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Rante Corporation, the worldwide leader in software, services, and solutions. Los attended a private elementary school and Hinsdale Central high school. During Kaleidoscope, he discovered his interest in computers. In 2004, Los attended Purdue University as a freshman where he began programming computers. In 2007, Los graduated from Purdue University early with High Distinguish as a Phi Beta Kappa.

Before entering St. John’s School of Law in 2009, Los focused on Rante. While at St. John’s School of Law, Los found his interest in domestic and international taxation. In 2012, Los attended New York Law School (NYLS) to receive his Master of Laws, LL.M, in Taxation.

While at NYLS, Los realized financial institutions and tax authorities lack the appropriate technology to address international regulations, such as the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and Base Erosion Profit Sharing (BEPS).

Under Los’ leadership, Rante’s mission has been to continually advance and improve software technology for governments and businesses, especially in regulatory sector. Under Los’ leadership, Rante has expanded into numerous countries. The company is committed to a long-term view, reflected in its investments and development each year.

In addition to his love of computers and software, Los invests in other software companies.
