Troy Tazbaz Biography
Troy Tazbaz is director of the Digital Health Center of Excellence (DHCoE) within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health at the Food & Drug Administration. DHCoE is responsible for enabling digital therapeutics and technologies that contribute to the ongoing modernization of healthcare in the United States. Tazbaz provides leadership in technology evaluation and integration into clinical care, policy development to establish digital health guidelines, and strategic public-private institution partnerships.
Prior to joining the FDA, Tazbaz was at Oracle for 11 years, holding a variety of technical and business responsibilities in building and scaling the cloud business. He concluded his time there as Senior Vice President of Industry Business Unit Strategy & Operations, part of the leadership team responsible for driving Oracle's cloud transformation across all parts of its business, process, technology, and people development. Prior to Oracle, Tazbaz had leadership roles at Equinix and Ning Interactive.
