Trudy Johnson

Trudy Johnson’s passion is to educate our culture on the aftermath of abortion. Her journey with the after-effects of abortion span almost the entire time that abortion has been legal in our nation. Beginning with her own personal experience that brought her a lot of the symptoms she now sees in others, Trudy went on to become a professional therapist to bring more credence to the message of the aftermath of abortion.

She wrote the first curriculum for pastors and lay leaders to understand the aftermath of abortion in the Body of Christ and teaches it as a course as an adjunct professor for Master’s International School of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana.(www.mdivs.edu) In addition, she served in the Pregnancy Resource Ministry at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, Colorado for over 11 years. In this capacity, she counseled abortion-minded callers and also reached out to women suffering from their abortion pain.

Trudy weaves her own testimony and also the stories and comments from real clients into abortion statistics that help audiences grasp the destruction that abortion brings women, men and families in our nation. She presents unique, never before heard material that speaks to the heart of the matter in a compassionate way. The statistics seem to grab the attention of the men in the audience and help them understand the impact of abortion in a fresh way.

Trudy feels led to bring the message of grief after abortion to “Ninevah” and has written the first ever book (C.P.R. ~ Choice Processing and Resolution) that speaks to secular women (about 65% of abortions) with encouragement and validation of their pain. She brings the topic for the first time ever into the secular professional counseling world as a workshop presenter to the 4,000 member American Counseling Association.

Trudy’s professional trainings include trauma recovery, eating disorders and sexual addiction recovery and intensive marriage counseling. Her professional education coupled with her Biblical knowledge and Formational prayer studies provide a unique combination for helping others break free from bondage.

Besides bringing a powerful message to pregnancy center fundraisers, she also delights in speaking to churches and women’s groups with Christian teachings that motivate and inspire women in recovery from past trauma and marriages needing good information for healing and transformation.
