Tyler Mantel Biography
Tyler Mantel is president of TVPHealth, a nonprofit organization building lower-cost ventilators that he founded as The Ventilator Project when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States. At the time, Mantel put on hold his previous venture, Watertower Robotics, a company that works to minimize the 20 percent of clean water lost worldwide due to deteriorating infrastructure.
He was previously the product manager at Environmental Solutions Group, a holding company of Dover that manufactures garbage trucks. After graduating with degrees in mechanical and chemical engineering in 2013, Mantel began his career as a field engineer inspecting offshore oil wells for Schlumberger, an oil and gas company.
