Valentin Stalf is the CEO and Co-founder of N26, the first mobile banking company in Europe. The goal of N26 was to disrupt the traditional banking industry and the way how to pay, save and revolutionize transfers money. He and his cofounder, Maximilian Tayenthal, had the vision to create a bank that customers would love to use. He is also currently a member of the advisory board at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Stalf was born in Vienna and has accounting and finance at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), as well as at the Sophia University in Tokyo (Japan) and the Vienna University of Economics (Austria) studied. During his studies, he has worked the Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions (German Bank), including in strategy consulting (Roland Berger) and. After graduating in 2012, he went to St. Gallen Internet Incubator Rocket Internet as Entrepreneur in Residence and was involved in various companies including Payleven (mobile payments) and Paymill (ePayments) build.
