Valerie Weisler Biography
Valerie Weisler's experience with bullying as a teenager inspired her to start The Validation Project. For twelve years, she has led this award-winning global movement, mobilizing 40,000 young people to channel their passions into positive action around the world. As the first American Doctoral Candidate in Children's Rights, Weisler is making history with her groundbreaking research, which is the first formal study to involve young children in designing their own child-friendly material.
With a Bachelor's in Education Advocacy and a Master's in Children's Rights, Weisler is a Harry S. Truman Scholar and Brooklyn College Childhood & Youth Scholar. Be it a gathering of six or a stadium packed with 60,000, Weisler's expertise in children's rights and youth empowerment is renowned globally. She has collaborated with entities such as the United Nations, U.S. Department of Education, Instagram, L'Oréal Paris, Harvard University, and others to advance youth programming.
