An ovarian cancer survivor, LeKae continues to use her voice as an instrument of love and healing. She is currently engaged in postgraduate studies at Syracuse University, concentrating on her Master's in Systems Thinking and Social Justice within the framework of Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a member in good standing with the AAMFT.

LeKae holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. On March 15th, 2024, LeKae made her Carnegie Hall debut with The New York Pops in Hitsville: Celebrating Motown.
