Before founding Shadow Branding, LLC, his strategic advisory firm, Kornblum built and guided brands from multiple perspectives—agency founder, corporate leader, and trusted advisor. He began his career in advertising, creating award-winning campaigns for top consumer brands across North America and internationally before transitioning to work on the client side to help transform major companies from within.

As Global Chief Marketing Officer for Toys “R” Us, Kornblum led one of the world’s most recognizable brands during its Fortune-200 peak—revitalizing its global creative efforts, redesigning in-store experiences, and helping launch the iconic Times Square flagship. His earlier agency leadership and subsequent advisory roles have spanned industries from home furnishings and consumer products to hospitality and retail.

Through Shadow Branding, he continues to work with leadership teams across various industries—from well-known brands to emerging disruptors—helping them find their emotional core. His work includes keynote speaking, executive seminars, and long-term advisory relationships, all focused on aligning culture, leadership, and customer experience around one central truth: brands that lead with heart last.
